Terastal Gathering is a 259-card Chinese-exclusive Pokémon TCG set in the Scarlet & Violet block, roughly equivalent to Japan’s Terastal Fest ex and the western Prismatic Evolutions. It is built around Eevee and its eight evolutions as Tera Pokémon ex, and its headline card — a Special Art Rare Sylveon ex illustrated by rika — does not appear in any other language release. The set’s chase card: a Chinese-exclusive Sylveon ex
Sylveon ex, card 234/208, is the set’s headline chase — a Special Art Rare illustrated by TCG artist rika that does not appear in Japan’s Terastal Fest ex (SV8a) or the Traditional Chinese SV8aF release. It’s exclusive to this Simplified Chinese set. The full-bleed art shows Sylveon drifting through a soft burst of cherry blossoms, its ribbon-feelers trailing through a pastel-pink and lavender mist — a design unlikely to ever be reprinted anywhere else.
Card 233/208 is also named “Sylveon ex” and also a Special Art Rare, but it’s a different, more widely-seen illustration shared with other language releases — don’t mix the two up when checking off your set.
