Cyberpunk TCG is a new two-player trading card game set in Night City, built around Legends, Eddies and Gig dice. Build a deck around 3 Legends, roll dice into your Gig area each turn, and attack to fight rival Units or steal their Gigs. Control 7 Gigs at the start of your turn and you win. This guide walks you through it one step at a time, with no experience needed.

What do you need to play?
- A 40–50 card main deck, plus 3 Legend cards with unique names.
- A 6-die polyhedral set: one d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20.
Free print-and-play demo decks exist if you want to try the game before buying: Embracing Power (Arasaka) and The Heist (Mercs). Ask us at the counter, we're happy to help.
How do you build a deck?

- Your 3 Legends set your deck's RAM Limits, by color (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). Every other card in your deck must be at or under those limits.
- 40–50 non-Legend cards, no more than 3 copies of any single card (by name and subtitle).
What's your play area?

| Area | What's there |
|---|---|
| Fixer | Your dice, before you roll them into play. |
| Gig Area | Rolled-in dice you control. Their total value is your Street Cred. |
| Field | Your Units in play. |
| Eddies | Sold cards, face-down. Each one is your currency. |
| Legends | Your 3 Legends, face-down at first. |
| Deck & Trash | Your draw pile and discard. |
How do you set up a game?
- Roll off (a d20 works well) to see who goes first.
- Shuffle your deck, then randomize and place your 3 Legends face-down. The player going first spends their 2 left-most Legends.
- Place your d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20 in your Fixer area, then draw 6 cards as your opening hand. You may mulligan once, shuffling back in and drawing 6 again.
What happens on your turn?

- Start Phase: ready your cards, draw 1, and roll a die from your Fixer into your Gig area. You may only choose your d20 if no other dice remain in your Fixer.
- Main Phase: sell 1 card, Call a Legend, play cards and attack, in any order you like. Pass any time you're done.
How do Eddies & Legends work?

Sell 1 card per turn from your hand to turn it into an Eddie, your currency to play cards. Call a Legend once per turn for 1 €$ to flip it face-up and use its effect.
How does attacking work?

- Spend a ready Unit (not Lagging) to attack a spent rival Unit (a fight) or their Gig area (a steal), if it has Gigs.
- Fight: higher power wins and defeats the loser. A tie defeats both.
- Steal: the attacker steals 1 Gig per 10 power, rounded down, plus 1. A 12-power Unit steals 2 Gigs.
- Units enter play with Lag: they can't attack or activate effects until the end of that turn.
How do you win?

Control 7 or more Gigs at the start of your turn and you win immediately. If both players run out of dice to roll without a winner (usually around turn 7), Overtime begins: the first player to reach 7 Gigs at any point wins instantly. Drawing from an empty deck loses the game right away.
Common terms
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Street Cred | The sum of the values on your Gig dice. |
| Sell Tag | Marks a card you're allowed to sell for 1 €$. |
| Quick | An effect you can activate as a reaction. |
| Blocker | A ready Unit that can intercept an attack, becoming the new defender. |
What are the best tips for your first game?
- Attack Gig areas early to build toward 7, and fight Units when you're ahead on power.
- Call your Legends as soon as it's useful, it's free value once per turn.
- Read a card you haven't seen before you play it, and ask if you're unsure what it does.
- Card text always wins if it ever differs from these basics.
Quick reference
| Deck | 40–50 cards plus 3 Legends, within your RAM Limits |
